Dear Charles I had your book with me at the
hospital, my husband was there for
surgery.Several people in the waiting room got a
chance to read parts of your book. They laughed
loudly and enjoyed it. I liked it very muc
h myself
and it touched my heart. The story about the
panther has to be a true story. You would of had
to have been there to be able to discribe it the
way you did. Carol Suniga, Spencer, Indiana

Rick I am the Kathy in your book. I hope to meet
you some day. I started reading your book and
could not set it down. You described so
beautifully the story of your brother, Bobby who
was the love of my life. Bobby talked about you

his big brother very much, now I can see why,
you have a gift. Thank You for sharing these
wonderful stories with the rest of us. Kathy Lund,

was back then.Very good.   Rose Neff,

you. Carol Perkins, Bedford, Indiana

When Tracy was killed you wrote about how she
was with the ones she loved. I felt tears for her. I

so many good times. Betty Kay (Jenkins) Keck

raised. I was tickled to death in seeing my name
in the book and have turned the corner of that
page and am taking it around to everyone I know
to show them. Let me know when you come up
for a signing. I will be there.   Coach Rex Hudson

Rick you state everything so eloquently. I wish I
had your gift of writing. I've gotten half-way
through your book and then family illness,
remodeling and taxes have kept me from
finishing it. I will though and have thoroughly
enjoyed it. You have a very descriptive way of
writing and it makes you feel like you are there.

Rick I just finished your book this morning, you had me laughing
and crying. My dad was the master of the milkman look, we
called it the brain damaged child look in our family. When is
your next book coming out? MaryAnn Allen Faudree,
Bloomfield, Indiana
Rick I have been reading the book and I have laughed to the point
of tears. If your mother is still living, you need to take some of the
proceeds of this book and buy her something really, really nice.
Probably wouldn't hurt to spend some money on your sister and
brothers too. I haven't finished the book yet, but there had better
be a sequel! Brett F. Lankford Bay Minette, Alabama
Rick S. the book was great and I am going to buy it for gifts
to give. I am so proud of you. Debbie (Gates) Jones Spanish

Hi Rick I received your book and read it in 2 nights. I enjoyed it
and have been racking my brain trying to figure out who some of
the people your talking about from Scotland, Ind. It sounds like
you like to get out with nature as much as I do.I hope you sell
lots of books. Eugenia Chaney Ellettsville, Ind.
I want to say to you Rick that I read your book and
found it to be delightful. I don't know how you lived to
write it. I feel I know you better (maybe a little too well)
and feel close to you. I hope we can get together
sometime and have a couple of beers and talk about the
book. Loretta Godfrey San Diego, Calif.
I love your book and cried over Tracy and Jerrico. If I
ever have kids this will be a must read on Mom's to do
list. I want another book to send to my Grand mother in
Huntsville, Al. and the University of Florence here wants
a copy for their library. April Livingston Florence, Italy
